Richard Cameron-Wolfe's music performed on China tour in June

 

Richard Cameron-Wolfe’s composition A Song Built from Fire for soprano and piano was performed on June 4, in Beijing, China. During their multi-city China concert tour, Los Angeles-based artists and Claremont College faculty members Gayle Blankenburg (pianist) and Anne Harley (soprano) presented it at Beijing Capital Normal University on June 4, 2015 at 7:30 pm. The text for Cameron-Wolfe’s work is by Catalan poet Jacint Verdaguer.


Cameron-Wolfe’s music was included on a concert program of works by American and Asian composers.
