Ed Jacobs' A Function of Memory (2001) performed in New Music @ ECU Festival, March 19

The 14th annual New Music @ ECU Festival took place March 19-23, 2014 at East Carolina University in Greenville. Festival director and founder, Edward Jacobs, presented more than 35 new works by both established and student composers, and featuring the Talea Ensemble, with various student and faculty ensembles and groups. Jacobs' A Function of Memory for clarinet and tape was performed by Talea, and a variety of other works presented including music by Rzewski, Berio, Messiaen, Martinu, Jonathan Dawe, Alex Mincek, and many others.
