Description

Composer's Note:

How Lovely is Your Dwelling Place was commissioned and premiered in 1999 by the Choir of the First Presbyterian Church of Bowling Green, Ohio (Nancy Wolcott, Director). This gentle and nostalgic setting of Psalm 84 was written in memory of Robin McEwen, a talented musician who was a vibrant and generous member of the community. Embedded in the piece are references to the Gregorian Requiem Mass (Agnus Dei and In Paradisum/Alleluia). How Lovely is Your Dwelling Place was the 2011 Sorel Foundation Medallion Winner for Choral Music.
