JARDINS MÉCANIQUES CONGELÉS

Jardins Mécaniques Congelés's origins are as an instrumental structured improvisation, Jardins Mécaniques, which was written for Zeitgeist as part of Shape Shifting. I have recorded the real-time processing, using as input the recorded instrumental tracks from the Shape Shifting recording sessions (Fur Seal Recording Studios, Minneapolis, December 2005, Innova CD 638). My approach to creating a fixed-media version of the work was to produce an idealized acousmatic realization.
