Description
An opera in two acts for orchestra, chorus, jazz combo, 5 soloists. Commissioned in 1982 by Indiana University and the National Endowment for the Arts with libretto by Leon Forrest.
It is the story of an Africian American Veterian returning from the Vietnam War to greater violence, and is killed by a jealous lover on his wedding night.
