Five songs for voice and piano after melodies by William Billings (1746-1800). The vocal melodies are by Billings (with some alterations), but the harmonies, accompaniments, and musical settings are by Karl Kroeger. This collection provides solo singers with some of Billings's best and most famous melodies, otherwise available only in choral settings.
