Desert Walk at Sunset

Composer's Note:

A warm, dry wind blows lightly on my face. I tread carefully along the craggy trail, dazzled by the splendor of the ever-shifting colors: pink and bright red gradually dissolve into deep blue and somber purple. The massive saguaros, silhouetted against the shifting palette, greet me with open arms. A distant owl tells me it is time to head home.
