Composer's Note:
"When Quiet Comes" is dedicated to the memory of my brother, Paul, who died of cancer in 2019. It is my hope that its simplicity and restraint will encourage reflection and introspection. This composition is suitable for performance by professionals and advanced youth ensembles.
