VOYAGE IN A WHITE BUILDING: THE MUSIC OF BURR VAN NOSTRAND, APRIL 22 IN BOSTON

for his project to raise awareness about the music of NEC alum (and longtime ACA member) Burr Van
Nostrand and re-introduce it into the repertoire of contemporary music
ensembles. This concert is an integral piece in a larger project, led by
New World Records, to release an album of Van Nostrands music,
including archival recordings, and interviews with his teachers and
contemporaries at NEC. Works scheduled for performance in April include the trio Fantasy Manual for Urban Survival as well as the large ensemble work, Voyage in a White Building.
