The ACA Board of Governors is elected by a vote of the entire membership each year to serve 3-year terms of service. Committees consisting of both Board members and other ACA members are appointed at the discretion of the president.

The Board of Governors meets twice a year, with additional meetings by the Board's Executive Committee.
