A large, 1 movement work for piano begun in Vienna and completed in New York. Written in the tradition of the "big" piano works of the late 19th century, the piece is both technically demanding and lyrical. Sections of percussive dissonance are interspersed with quiet, expressive interludes. For advanced pianists only.
