SALES:
We've come a long way from the "orange score" days. Every ACA score in our current inventory is available for purchase in a new reprint edition. Requests for information and score reprint services will be handled in the order re cei v ed. Pa yment must be received in advance, unless prior arrangements have been made. Find the work in our database you are interested in, and choose the link for "inquiry form" at the bottom of the composition page -- or email us directly at info [at] composers [dot] com.
Orders can be paid by check sent to the ACA office, or by credit card through the secure online page link given in the invoice, or by faxing the credit card information to the ACA office secure fax line.
LIBRARIES may submit a Purchase Order by email or fax, and will receive an invoice with the shipment of materials.
As payment is received, ACA will print and bind on demand the score materials per the order placed, and ship them to the invoice address, by US Mail, or by UPS ground service. ACA prints materials and also uses outside printing companies to facilitate larger orders.
Many of the works in the ACA catalog are considered historical, and the printing is done directly from the composer's manuscript or master copy. Not all works are typeset/engraved.
Because each order is custom printed, ACA in most cases cannot process returns or refunds. In a case where the order is placed, and ACA later determines that the score masters are too fragile or too muddled for decent reproduction, the customer's check will be returned and/or the credit card will not be charged, and the customer will be given options to view a page before committing to buy. Many of the historical materials are fragile or super oversize, and need special care in reproduction.
Some works are available for sale as PDF downloads, wh ich the customer must print on his/her own equipment. If self-printed, the score is sold as a PDF file at the original size of the master sheets, as intended by the composer, unless otherwise requested. If downloaded, ACA cannot guarantee print quality, and the customer will assume the responsibility for proper printing of the materials. The customer agrees to download for a single individual use only, and that the file will not be posted or shared electronically, or resold or redistributed beyond the original purchaser.
