Woodwind Trio "Macondito" is divided into four parts, articulated by its harmonic-contrapuntal structure, character and tempo: Andante - Allegro - Arabesque- and Andante. The work takes advantage of the differences in sound between the three instruments, rather than trying to form a blend. It is a polyphonic texture  in melody, with an underlying quasi-tonal harmonic structure.
