A one movement work for piano trio and recorded electronic and acoustic tracks processed with a moog synthesizer. The taped tracks were later transferred to a CD. As the title suggests, the piece has to do with an obsession with certain textures and gestures which are common to all of the instruments. The work contains many extended instrumental techniques, as well as a cadenza for each of them. High technical difficulty. The work received the 1977 recording award of ACA.
